Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for our programme. We are delighted to welcome the MEL Class of 2026. Their journey begins not just with orientation, but with a first lecture under the guidance of Dr. Koen Berden.
In his opening session, Dr. Berden set the tone for the year ahead, emphasizing rigorous inquiry, curiosity, and collaboration. Students engaged immediately, asking questions and diving into topics that will challenge them in the months ahead.
This cohort brings together a diverse group of motivated professionals from different backgrounds and regions. We believe their distinct perspectives will contribute strongly to class dynamics and discourse.
As the academic year begins, we anticipate:
- rigorous coursework, case studies, and research projects
- guest lectures from industry experts
- networking opportunities and company visits
- close mentorship from faculty
We look forward to watching the Class of 2026 grow, innovate, and lead in maritime economics and logistics.
