We are proud to share that the MSc in Maritime Economics and Logistics has been featured in Maritime Innovations, a leading publication covering maritime innovation, sustainability and technology.
Journalist Joachim Rosenoegger visited Erasmus University Rotterdam in April 2026 as part of the Blue-C press tour through the Netherlands. He sat down with Prof. Dr. Albert Veenstra, Professor of Trade and Logistics at Rotterdam School of Management and MEL Academic Director, and Dr. Maurice Jansen, port innovation specialist at the Erasmus Centre for Urban Ports and Transport Economics.
The article covers what MEL graduates actually know, the programme's 25-year research archive, and why leading companies, including Maersk, Cargill, CMA CGM and Vopak, consistently recruit from MEL.
It also highlights the employment outcomes of our recent graduates, 96% employed within six months, with 24% receiving job offers before completing the programme.
