On 28 October 2009, Eivind Kolding, CEO of Maersk Line, delivered the keynote address at the graduation ceremony for the MEL Class of 2009. In congratulating the newly graduated students Mr Kolding emphasised the shipping industry, and liner sector in particular’s need for highly competent new talent such as is provided year after year by MEL. “Over the past 10 years or so, MEL has created an enviable reputation in maritime research and education,” he commented. |
