The MEL Lecturer of the Year award was presented to Eelco Hoekstra (left, CEO of Royal Vopak), by professor Bert de Groot (right, MEL General Manager).

The lecturer of the year is determined according to the results of evaluations completed by the students. The criteria includes communication skills, content of lectures, and presentation.
