Erasmus University Rotterdam: the Netherlands’ No 1

Erasmus University Rotterdam is rated as No 1 in the Netherlands, No 20 in Europe and No 64 in the world by the Times Higher Education Supplement. The first place goes to Harvard, with Oxford and Cambridge in the 5th and 6th places.

The THES bases its ranking partly on the number of publications issued by each university, the number of times they are referred to in leading academic journals, the opinions of other academics and the focus on their international research.
