“Did the ‘Copenhagen’ outcome see international shipping as a cash cow?”

Mr. Tony Mason is Secretary General of the International Chamber of Shipping and International Shipping Federation, two ship-owner associations which represent ship-owners internationally. Tony will be giving a short introduction to the role of those associations.

He has held that position for nearly three years prior to which he worked in the container business for over thirty years, culminating in the position of Director – Corporate Strategy at P and O Nedlloyd, before the acquisition of PONL by Maersk.

Mr. Mason has had extensive experience of working on behalf of the industry, having been a director both of the European Liner Affairs Association and of the World Shipping Council.
