As of June 2008, MEL has been a fully accredited MSc by the Dutch government. This means that MEL degrees (MSc) can be officially certified by the Ministry of Education of The Netherlands. Throughout Europe this is increasingly demanded by students, employers and accreditation organizations in their home countries. Students are strongly advised to inquire on the status of their degree prior to applying for an MSc or Master’s course.
